About

One Family. Two Firms. Built for the Small and Medium-Sized Businesses We Know.

Pia Page and Jason P. Page founded Page Assurance & Advisory, PLLC and fraction-ao, LLC together, and they run both firms together. fraction-ao was founded initially to provide senior finance and accounting staff to CFOs and Controllers on an interim and project basis. As clients began asking for AI project leaders to deploy agentic AI inside their accounting and finance functions, fraction-ao expanded its consultant bench to meet that demand. Today, fraction-ao places both traditional senior finance talent and AI-fluent project leaders. Page Assurance & Advisory is the licensed CPA firm that handles books, taxes, audits, and CFO advisory under one roof. The two firms work together when clients want both, and independently when clients want one.

Our Small and Medium-Sized Business Focus

Why We Deliberately Stay Out of Fortune 500 Work

Fortune 500 finance teams have $18 billion technology budgets. Small and medium-sized businesses do not. Yet the same AI capability is now within reach for businesses with $1M to $100M in revenue. That gap is where we live. We do not bid on Fortune 500 work because the small and medium-sized business market is larger, more underserved, and more interesting.

Where We Work

On-Site in Austin. Local-Sourced Elsewhere. Remote Anywhere.

fraction-ao maintains on-site capacity in Austin. For clients in Houston, Dallas, San Antonio, and elsewhere in Texas and the United States, we source local consultants who can work on-site with you, or we place remote consultants if you prefer. Local consultants for local clients, unless you are open to remote.

fraction-ao and Page Assurance & Advisory, PLLC do not maintain physical offices.

Values

How We Work

Plain English

We translate AI into terms an owner can act on. If we cannot explain it in two sentences, we do not deploy it.

Outcomes Over Hours

Engagements are scoped to outcomes (close days, hours saved, audit position). Not staff utilization.

Family Accountability

Pia and Jason answer the phone. There is no account team to escalate to. The buck stops with the family.

What to Expect

Fast Start. Honest Scoping.

From the time you reach out, expect a Needs Discussion within 4 business hours. Once you interview a candidate and approve them, the consultant can begin immediately. In some cases, that is the next day.

Hiring

We Hire AI-Curious Accountants and AI-Fluent CPAs

If you are a CPA who wants to work on AI projects, or an AI-fluent finance professional who wants the back-up of a CPA firm, we want to talk.
